The best kind of Letter is the kind that can be viewed entirely without having to use the scrollbar. This is sometimes problematic because many computer users still view their monitor with a 800 x 600 resolution which makes images larger than they appeared on your computer. To avoid making the layout too large, follow these guidelines:

  • Pay attention to the image height and width that you will place in the header/footer and left/right regions of the Letter.
    1. IncrediMail tries to use images under 80 pixels high and 300 pixels wide for the Header/footer region.
    2. Side images should not be longer than 200 pixels high and wider than 60 pixels. Side images that exceed these ranges will move the margin of the text too much and make editing the text of the email message awkward.
      Note: The proportions you see in the View pane within the Letter Creator are quite accurate and should be used as a size indicator as to what the Letter will look like once it is completed.
