Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
SMTP is the standard protocol used to send emails. The name of your outgoing mail server is needed in order for IncrediMail to send your emails.

Note: The incoming and outgoing server names are usually the same.

How do I find what my POP3/SMTP Server settings are?
When you create a new email account in IncrediMail, it automatically tries to fill these settings for you using the email address you provided. However, if these fields are empty, you can do ONE of the following:

  1. Have IncrediMail try to copy these settings from your previous mail program:

Note: You will be able to use this option only if IncrediMail finds other email programs installed on your computer.

From IncrediMail's main window, select: Tools > Accounts > Add
Leave the option "Automatically configure settings" selected and click "Next".
IncrediMail will display a list of email programs to choose from.
Select the program you have been working with and click "Finish".
IncrediMail will copy your account settings including your POP3/SMTP server names.
