Q: How can I control which email messages I download directly from the server?

The Advanced Account Access enables you to review email on your mail server, choose specific email messages to receive, or delete email messages without downloading them to your computer.

Deleting email messages directly from the server enables you to remove all junk or possibly virus-infected emails before they are received by your IncrediMail email client and possibly harm your hard drive.

To use the Advanced Account Access, follow these simple steps:
  1. In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'Advanced' icon (marked in red).

  2. Note: The 'Advanced Account Access' dialog can also be opened using a keyboard shortcut. Press 'Ctrl' and 'M' together, to open the dialog.

  3. Once the 'Advanced Account Access' dialog opens, IncrediMail connects to your mail server and displays a list of your email messages.

  4. Note: The Status Window (marked in red) indicates the Advanced Account Access connection state (e.g., Connecting, Authorizing).

    Retrieving an email from your mail server:

    1. Select an email message from the list and click the 'Get Msg' button (marked in red).

    2. The email message you select is downloaded to IncrediMail so that you can view the content of the email.

    Deleting an email from your mail server:

    1. Select an email message from the list and click the 'Delete' button (marked in blue).

    2. Confirm the delete request and the email is deleted from the mail server.

    Bouncing an email from your mail server:

    1. Select an email message from the list and click the 'Bounce' button (marked in green).

    2. Click 'Bounce to Sender' to confirm bouncing the email message.
